Lauren is the only Geneticist and Animal Breeding Specialist working in service dog, canine colony management and service dog reproduction in the southern hemisphere.
After studying Genetics, Biochemistry, Animal Breeding, and Animal Behaviour, she started her career at Guide Dogs New Zealand before moving across to Guide Dogs QLD – overseeing the success and development of a 300+ service dog colony.
Noticing the lack of information and support in the broader canine breeding community, Lauren established her own animal breeding consultancy to provide comprehensive guidance to the service dog, domestic dog and performance dog industries within Australia.
